Soprano Dana MacIntosh, lauded for her confidence and flair on stage, appeared as Kitty Hart in Dead Man Walking at OperaDelaware's 2019 festival, where she was an inaugural member of the Young Artist Program. Past performances with OperaDelaware include Nella in Gianni Schicchi and Buoso’s Ghost under the baton of composer Michael Ching, and La Novizia in Suor Angelica under Maestro Anthony Barrese in 2018.
Other recent performances include Marguerite in Faust with Delaware Valley Opera Company, as well as appearances with Baltimore Concert Opera, Greensboro Opera, and Miami Summer Music Festival. Dana’s full roles include Musetta in La Bohème, Mother in Amahl and the Night Visitors, Sister Mathilde in Dialogues of the Carmelites, and Anna Gomez in The Consul. Partial roles include Mimi in La Bohème and Countess in Le Nozze di Figaro. In 2016, Dana performed the role of Ann Putnam and covered the role of Abigail Williams in Ward's The Crucible at the Miami Summer Music Festival. Dana will be making her role debut of Magda in La Rondine with Delaware Valley Opera Company in the summer of 2019.

In concert, Dana has appeared as soprano soloist in the Bruckner Te Deum with UNCG’s Symphony, as well as soloist in Grieg’s Solveigs Sang. She also appeared as soprano soloist in Handel’s Messiah with West Market St. United Methodist Church in Greensboro, North Carolina. Dana’s deep love of art song led her to participate in SongFest in Los Angeles, and CoOperative at Westminster Choir College.
Dana holds a Master's Degree in Vocal Performance from The University of North Carolina Greensboro and a Bachelor’s in Music from the University of Delaware.
